Niiti at the Bharat Inclusion Summit 2025: Driving Customer-Centric Impact Evaluation in Fintech

Niiti Consulting participated in the Bharat Inclusion Summit 2024, held in Bengaluru on April 21–22, showcasing its ongoing efforts to shape meaningful impact evaluation practices within the fintech ecosystem. On April 21, Niiti facilitated a deep-dive workshop in collaboration with IIMA-V and 13 fintech startups. The session focused on critically reviewing the evaluation framework designed for the Women’s Financial Inclusion India (WFII) initiative, surfacing insights into what’s working, what needs refinement, and how these tools can be adapted to better serve women customers across diverse contexts.

 

Building on this momentum, on April 22, Meena Vaidyanathan and Varun Gupta, co-facilitated a workshop at the main summit, guiding fintech participants through the process of customizing evaluation frameworks to build stronger customer centricity. The session brought a fresh perspective on how measurement practices can go beyond compliance to truly inform and enhance service delivery. In addition, Niiti presented key learnings from the WFII project in a visually curated exhibit at the Summit’s Knowledge Corner, offering attendees a chance to engage with the research in an interactive, reflective format.
